Rosie as we call her was the first mare purchased by Icon Farms.. We purchased her late in June and bred her to Indian Gunner however she didnt catch.. and on one cover we decided to wait until 2009 to breed her to him..
Rosie is the best mare on Icon Farms.. She is out of the NRHA money producing dam Alicia Rose who has foal earnings of 39,000 dollars and counting.. She has 3 wonderful daughters by Gunner and a wonderful weanling by Colonels Lil Gun.. Recent update on her mothers produce, her filly Rose Colored Gunner was reserve at the APHA Fall show in reining..
This lovely red roan mare has tremendous appeal in the NRHA market because of her potential ability at producing red roans with color if bred right.. And with sibling from the gunner line that are absolutly gorgeous. Chances are her value will increase.. What doesnt Rosie have, there is no flaws in this mare other then her silly fun loving personality.. she is a ham and a half.. With her pedigree boasting greats like Martha's Mega Jac, Hollywood Jac 86, Mainly Martha, Topsail Whiz etc. this mare is a wonderful addition to any broodmare band.
