Cat is an exquisite daughter of the great young sire Nic It In The Bud! I purchased Cat in 2008 from Pam Rohus and her husband. Cat was in foal to their son of Gunner, Colonels Lil Gun. Cat came home to ND with Daisy the fall of 2008. We built the farm trying to get it done before the baby came and we did. Cat was moved over first, she enjoyed the peace without Rosie and Daisy for a few hours. However very sadly we lost the baby 3 days after she was foaled, It was a very difficult thing to handle. And to this day im still not sure about breeding her to Gunner line stallions even though i want to.
It was hard on us to go forward with breeding her. But we had the breeding to RC Fancy Step and we went with it. We were blessed with a healthy beautiful filly. Cat is a kind loving mare with a pedigree that is going to allow me to cross on all the top reining lines without concern. Her broodmare sire is a son of Doc O'lena out of a Dash For Cash mare. so she brings some fun stuff to the table.. Cats 1/2 brother by Topsail Cody is a NRHA money earner and solid youth horse.
Cat is one of y favorites based on her kind quiet demeanor and her devotion and love for her babies. A natural mother, losing her first baby, broke me into pieces, but it strengthened our bond as owner and horse.
We are currently deciding on mating plans for 2012. However I know she will throw an amazing baby! She is 2 for 2 on beautiful foals.

Fancy is the beautiful daughter of Cat, she is a headstrong confident lady, who is also very kind and loving. Everyone who meets this filly loves her. She is very much the Princess of Icon Farms. Fancy will be 2 years old next year, and we are currently talking to trainers about her future. She is in my opinion going to be a money earner in the NRHA. She is a special girl. Fancy will also come home following her career to be a mommy for Icon Farms. She will be the future of the farm.
